I was a senior software developer for RLL / Tekcelerate, a company that offers innovative insurance products and technology solutions for rental property owners and residents. RLL’s goal is to reduce risk and increase profits for its clients by protecting them from resident-caused losses.

My role was to create a hybrid app for android, ios, and web using react, react native and node js that would let users access RLL’s services and features online. These include getting insurance quotes, managing claims, processing payments, screening residents, etc.

I worked with the product manager and designer to design features and solutions that would enhance user experience. I wrote and delivered complex features such as insurance quotes, claims management, payment processing, etc. in the web and mobile apps while keeping high-quality code. I also solved, debugged, and fixed issues in apps and services using various tools and methods. I tracked and improved the performance of applications using analytics and feedback to improve user experience. Rewrote an old node js codebase to typescript to make it more readable and maintainable. Led the migration of services and apps to Single Sign-on using Auth0 to boost security and convenience.

The app was successfully launched on time and got positive feedback from users and clients. The app helped RLL grow its customer base by 25% in the first year of operation.
